AVWF® Neurostimulation – for an overwhelmed nervous system
Stress, sensory overload, ADHD, exhaustion, sleep disturbances: when school, work, and everyday life push the nervous system out of balance, AVWF® Neurostimulation offers a sustainable solution.
State-of-the-art, innovative, non-invasive neurotechnology
Specially modulated signal impulses stimulate the middle ear muscles via headphones — and with them nerve fibers that are directly connected to the autonomic nervous system. The result: the nervous system recalibrates, and concentration, learning ability, and overall well-being improve.
AVWF® Neurostimulation is successfully used for:
ADHD and hyperactivity · burnout and chronic stress · exhaustion and depression · sleep disorders · concentration and learning difficulties.
For children, adolescents, and adults. Many patients notice changes after just a few sessions.

How does AVWF therapy work?
AVWF® Neurostimulation acts on central regulatory circuits between the brainstem, neocortex, and the autonomic nervous system through sensory components of several cranial nerves — including vagal, trigeminal, and facial connections.
Through specially modulated signal impulses, a gentle activation of these nerve pathways is triggered via the muscles of the inner ear. Both ascending (afferent) and descending (efferent) nerve pathways are stimulated in this process. This rhythmic activation creates feedback loops within the autonomic nervous system.
These processes improve regulation, sensory processing, and the balance between activation and relaxation.
Body and brain relearn when performance is required and when recovery is necessary.
The Effects:
-
Improved concentration & perception
-
Better information processing
-
More successful learning behavior
-
Stress reduction & relaxation
-
Enhanced emotional stability
-
More energy for school, work, daily life & sports

Measurable Effects on the Brain
Using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), it has been proven that sound-modulated music – as used in AVWF – triggers specific neural responses in the brain.A study from Salzburg showed significant changes in three key brain areas among participants:
Auditory Cortex:
Significantly increased activity when listening to sound-modulated music – the brain responds more intensely to acoustic stimuli.
Thalamus:
Increased activation was also observed in the thalamus, the central relay station for sensory impressions – particularly in areas related to auditory processing.
Motor and Premotor Cortex:
Reduced activity was measured here, indicating a calming and relaxing effect.
These results suggest that sound-modulated music not only enhances perception but also contributes to motor relaxation. This approach could be particularly supportive in parenting and therapy for restless or hyperactive children – and may even help reduce the need for medication.

Treatment Process
The Preliminary Examination – Neurofunctional Baseline Diagnostics
At the beginning, a comprehensive neurofunctional diagnostic assessment is carried out to objectively record visual and auditory processing processes.
The AVWF Neurostimulation Therapy
The therapy takes place over a period of two treatment weeks, consisting of ten consecutive days. One session of 60 minutes takes place each day.
The stimulation is applied via headphones using frequency-modulated signals. During the application, patients can relax, read, draw, play, rest, or sleep. Active participation is not required.
In addition, evidence-based methods such as neurologically based visual training and targeted color light stimulation are used. These additional impulses support visual processing, sensory integration, and autonomic regulation.
Patients report positive changes already during the therapy and in the following 6–12 months.

Your Therapist
Martin Beer, MSc Clinical Optometry, Neuroscientist
With over 35 years of experience in optometry, I support people on their path toward stable visual and auditory perception.
Today, my focus lies on AVWF® Neurostimulation. Over the past two decades, I have specialized in the neurophysiological regulation of the nervous system through functional optometry and AVWF® Neurostimulation, conducting research in close collaboration with medicine and science.
In my neuroscientific work, I explore how the brain and the autonomic nervous system can be specifically supported in their regulatory processes. In doing so, I work with state-of-the-art, innovative, non-invasive neurotechnology.
In AVWF® Neurostimulation, I use specially modulated acoustic signals delivered through headphones, designed to specifically address certain brain rhythms.
My goal is to help people of all ages stabilize their perception, improve their concentration, and gain more calmness and performance in everyday life.
Because stable perceptual processing is an important foundation for well-being, the ability to learn, and quality of life.
If you're interested, please email me for an initial consultation. Sometimes I can tell you during our phone call whether therapy would be suitable for your son or daughter. Sometimes I need to perform a preliminary examination to determine the correct diagnosis.
